How do you pronounce the name of your nation?

Recommended Posts

Korros

Kor- is like the English word "core."

ros- like the English word "row." The s is pronounced like the s in "Saturday."

The descriptive version of the word is Korrosan. This should never be confused with Korrosian, which is viewed is deragatory.

"Southern States of" is simple english, so no problem there.

"La Plata" is spanish, so it'd be actually pronounced different. I decided to leave it spanish because it didn't feel right to pass it to english, if it was even possible in the first place.

According to the International Phonetic Alphabet:

[gɑ-hi-lænd]

[gɑ-ji-lænd], [gɑj-lænd], and [gɑhj-lænd] are also correct.
