Moon Rock Properties

Discovered By: Doctor Robert Braswem

Date of Discovery: January 16th, 2010 1375 Hours

Category: Fuel Alternatives

Summary: When the moon rocks were analyzed, the moon rocks showed traces of Hydro-Corpine, which is currently used as a type of fuel for car engines. If we are able to send shuttles up here to mine the rocks, we might be able to use them as fuel, or extract the Hydro-Corpine. This concludes the report about the Moon Rock Properties.

Possible Life on Luna

*Classified Access*

Discovered By: Doctor Robert Braswem

Date of Discovery: January 16th, 2010 1425 Hours

Category: Extra Terrestrial Life

Summary: When we preformed scans on the surface of the moon, we discovered water vapor, which possibly means life once existed on Luna. No other data has been found on to support this, so this report will remain open at this time.

Additive - January 17th, 2010 1850 Hours (Doctor Natasha Eista)

Beginning scans of Luna's core has shown that is could have once supported an atmosphere, but it is unlikely. But for the small chance that it could have, it does support evidence that life had once been supported on Luna.

Additive - January 20th, 2010 0824 Hours (Doctor Robert Braswem)

According to an unknown mineral we found, it had a steel like chemical composition. The way it was arranged, makes us believe they were possibly buildings, or some form of art. More detailed analysis will be completed on the compounds when we bring them to our labs on Earth.

Additive - January 20th, 2010 1100 Hours (Doctor James Nettis)

We have found an unknown set of fossils on Luna. As of now we don't know anything about them, but we have halted all other research into other areas of Luna and completely focusing on this discovery. We are quarantining the bones when we board the shuttle in two days and bringing them down to our labs.

Additive - January 21th, 2010 0624 Hours (Doctor Natasha Eista)

The bones we found are have a humanoid stance, but are shaped differently. They also are high in the mineral iron. This almost completely justifies the fact that life was possibly on Luna.

Additive - January 29th, 2010 2145 Hours (Doctor Bradley Remish)

The bones contained a rare element that causes them to turn green when exposed to our atmosphere's gases. At this time I'm closing the possible life report, as we are not able to continue collecting evidence to support or deny this assumption. According to all of the evidence, life did once exist on Luna. Whether they lived on Luna or flew to Luna on a shuttle like we did, is undetermined at this time.

Luna's Planetary Conditions

Discovered By: Doctor Robert Braswem

Discovery Date: January 16th, 2010 0300 Hours

Category: Planet Conditions

Summary: At the arrival time we discovered that gravity is less on Luna than it is on Earth. When we took a step we ended up bouncing in the air. After a few hours of getting used to the smaller gravity level, we were able to move around with ease. There is no air on the moon as well, so the environmental suits that we wore out of the shuttle was a good idea. At this time we are going to continue to study Luna's conditions, so this report will remain open.

Additive - January 20th, 2010 1541 Hours (Doctor Nattily Gregorson)

The temperature on the dark side of the moon is extremely cold, while the side facing the sun is warm. It is possible to colonize Luna, but we would need a life support shield around the city.

Additive - January 22nd, 2010 0120 Hours (Doctor Nattily Gregorson)

No air exists on Luna, and no water can be found on it's surface. No plant life exists as well, so if a colony is to be designed, it must include a large area to grow food. At this time, we are going to close this report.

Unknown Mineral Found

Discovered By: Doctor Robert Braswem

Discovery Date: January 17th, 2010 0201 Hours

Category: Resources

Summary: On a expedition to sector 55 of Luna, we found an unknown mineral. We are analyzing it now, but have no info on it. The mineral has a metallic feel and is durable. At this time this report will remain open.

Additive - January 20th, 2010 0217 Hours (Doctor Robert Braswem)

Scans of the mineral show that it is made of a steel like compound. The way it was set, it looked like they were possibly buildings once. We are bringing samples back to our labs on Earth for more detailed study, so at this time the report will remain open.

Additive - January 24th, 2010 2030 Hours (Doctor Robert Braswem)

Using our systems on Earth, we have discovered that that it is made of an element we have now named Cartolagin, which is stronger and more durable than steel. We are going to see if we can replicate the material. At this time though, we are going to close the report.

Luna's Core

Discovered By: Doctor Natasha Eista

Discovery Date: January 17th, 2010 1850 Hours

Category: Planetary Conditions

Summary: Scans on Luna's core has shown that it once possibly could have supported an atmosphere, but is unlikely. It is cold and dense, made of the same rocks as the surface of the moon. The core can be possibly mined for the mineral that can be used to fuel cars. The core is 60-150 KM thick. This concludes the report.

Fossils Found

*Classified Access*

Discovered By: Doctor James Nettis

Discovery Date: January 20th, 2010 1035 Hours

Category: Archeology Find

Summary: While studying sector 20 of Luna, we came across some fossils. We are very excited about this, because it is almost definite proof that life once existed on Luna. We are currently studying the compositions of the bones and what the organism might have looked like. The report will remain open at this time.

Additive - January 21, 2010 0404 Hours (Doctor Natasha Eista)

We have reconstructed what the organism might have looked like. It has a humanoid body, but has a different bone structure. The bone chemical composition are similar to human bones, but are high in the mineral iron. It is twice the normal amount found in human bones. Full analysis will be conducted on Earth, when we return in three days.

Additive - January 24th, 2010 2120 Hours (Doctor Natasha Eista)

When we took a bone out of quarantine to test it, the bone turned green. We are unsure of what caused this to happen, but we are running more tests on the chemical composition of the bones, to see if there is something we missed while testing them on Luna.

Additive - January 29, 2010 2130 Hours (Doctor Bradley Remish)

While finishing the chemical composition on the bones, I found an extremely rare element, which has not been named yet. We are unsure as to how we missed the element in our first scans, but we now know why the bones turned green. At this time I will be closing the report, because this is all the information we will be able to get from the bones at this time. This was an extremely lucky find, and I would advise that we set up a research base on Luna, to continue looking for fossils, and to continue gaining scientific knowledge.
